Why this directory
Most boarding kennels are built for dogs, and Google Maps can't tell you which ones keep cats away from the barking. We check each place's own website for whether it takes only cats, has a separate cat area, has a vet on site, gives insulin and other injections, has webcams, and what one night costs.
Browse by city, or go straight to cats-only cat boarding or vet clinics that board cats.

Questions people ask
- What's the difference between a cat hotel and a boarding kennel?
- A cat hotel (or cattery) takes only cats, so there are no dogs in the building. Many kennels board both, some with a separate cat room. Each listing says which, when the place's website does.
- Can a boarding place give my cat insulin?
- Some can and some can't. Many boarding businesses give oral medication but not injections. Listings marked "gives insulin or injections" say so on their website; always confirm the dose and schedule when you book.
- What vaccines does my cat need for boarding?
- Almost every place asks for rabies and FVRCP (feline distemper), and some ask for FeLV. Check the place's own requirements before you book, since some accept titers or vet exemptions.
- How much does cat boarding cost?
- It varies by city and by the type of place. Where a place publishes a nightly price for one cat, we show it on the listing and the city page, and our price guide compares them.
